Did you know…?
… that the temperature of the warmest water in Serbian spas is 96 degrees?
Its hot spring is located in Vranjska Banja Spa in southern Serbia.
This thermal water is not only the warmest in Serbia, but it’s one of the warmest medicinal waters in Europe.
After Vranjska Spa, the second warmest is in Josanicka Spa – its temperature reaches 78 degrees.
Vranjska Banja Spa can boast many notabilities, but the most famous is probably King’s bathtub. Serbian King Peter the First Karadjordjevic treated his bones with the hot water of this spa, staying in a special bathtub.
Queen Draga Mašin also stayed here, but various people from abroad were frequent guests too, such as the inhabitants of Greece.
