So, let’s start with some facts. Belgrade is the capital of Serbia, situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. History says it took part in even 115 wars and was burnt to the ground a

populated by Celts, Romans, Slavs, Byzantines, Hungarians, Turks, etc.
The meaning of its name is a white city (in Serbian Beograd), but its nicknames are also “the
Door to Central Europe” and “Gateway to the Balkans”. During Roman rule, Belgrade was
known as Singidunum.
